Well hello my #GlowingGoddesses! I hope you are doing well with everything that is going on with this year! Things are crazy in my world. If I can be honest, I am having a day! But, here I am.
So I'm scrolling on YouTube watching videos about yoni steaming and I came across this one video that just set my blood to boil! It was a video about opening a v-steam business and in less than 10 minutes, I was hot. The lady actually had the nerve to say that yoni steaming was "just putting steam up there"! Can you believe it?!?!?! This is a business owner, someone who steams women for a living (I guess) and she had the nerve to say that.
Yoni steaming is more that just putting steam up your vajayjay. It is a holistic wellness treatment that is used to maintain female reproductive health and a way to honor and connect with the feminine energy. It's a way to release things that you no longer need and heal from the inside out. There are a few major components contributing to the success of yoni steaming: the power of steam, the healing benefits of herbs, and the intention of the session.
Remember when I told you the story of my first time trying a yoni steam? It as horrible! The atmosphere wasn't right, I was sitting on a plastic commode, and my facilitator didn't seem to knowledgeable about the situation. It was not a very memorable experience.
